Brilliant couple of days, good lanes, good company.

Nice to have the sit down in the pub and a natter on Saturday night with those that made it.

Thanks to everyone involved

oh, and big thanks to sue for the loan of that thing that displays maps that tell you where you are, and can find short cuts to head off the other group :D

and also for the time she spent programming the thing with a blue line exactly the same size and colour of a grid line....
:p

I know, you were following me

Was a bit worried when we stopped to recover the Freelander coming down Scar House  Especially when you winched the Freelander when it got stuck on that huge rock. I wasn't sure whether the Freelander was going to come out or yours come down the hill to join it :D:D But seriously that was a good bit of recovery across the corner past me. I so need a winch :D:D:D:D

I changed the line thing to pink for you, on my PC :D:D

Unfortunately the iphone doesn't seem to support routes being anthing other than blue :D:D

LOL, you can see the bad bits in that picture, behind your Landy by the tree  That was the bit where I thought I thought we were going over :D:D So did Discopol, he was asking why defenders dont have handles on the dash to stop passengers ending up in the drivers seat :D:D

Next trip is Sunday 29th, we are picking up the missed lanes from Saturday and doing some more exploring of other lanes in that area (Tees ??). Will be meeting somewhere North of Leeds. Will do a post on West Yorkshire trips

You can change the colour, and make it much wider into a big blue fat snake (or other colour of your choice) can't remember where to change it though and its not in an obvious place

I found it by click on the route on the PC, couldn't make it work on the iphone, and it also didn't keep the colour when I emailed the pink one from the PC. More work needed on that I think.

You ready to set off now, have a good trip :D

Ah well i did try to get a pic off that bit but unfortunately i was unable to get out of the Landy as it was at such an angle my door was up against the banking and Bob couldn't even open his door.

Not surprise, poor kid , would have been the same as lifting a Landy door over your head

I'd just like to thank everyone there on Saturday for making a noobie feel most welcome. I can't wait to get my 'fat albert' fixed so I can actually go driving with you all :)
