Pathetic effort :p:p:p:p

Galvanised farm gate, round grey stone posts with beige stone tops. 7 horizonal bars, 4 vertical bars extending half way up, 2 vertical bars extending 3/4 of the way up, 2 galvanised arches extending downwards from the top bar, hinged to the right, with a non horse friendly spring loaded fastening, opening inwards.

Last post on the subject - have PMd individuals directly concerned but appears others have the same belief so this is my response

These were my posts from yesterday and today relating to Dave

1) I think either Dave or Sarah has a thing for Neil and all this "going wrong stuff" is just a pretext

2) All I keep thinking is thank God Dave doesn't belong to me- it'd cost me as much as he probably cost in the first place to get him fixed in a garage I'll stick with my old faithful Beast

3)Have you worked out / do you have any idea what it would have cost you to have dave sorted in a garage instead of by neil.
Not everyone has a neil or feels comfortable using a neil to that extent.
Thats what I was trying to say...actually if neil hadn't been about...how much so far would dave have cost you on repairs ?

4)Wasnt suggesting you were ..sorry if it came across like that. ( although I do think being a woman has helped ) ...was saying that if like myself you rely on garages...howmuch would the work have set you back in terms of costs to daves initial purchase costs. Like I said not everyone has a Neil and this thread is being used for instance to help people to decide if they buy a refub one already ..I was reading tonight .... its important to factor how much additional cost you could expect if you've bought a wrong un and don't have the ability to fix it yourself.

On the basis of that people have deduced that I was

1 Having a go at Sarah by "dishing it out" - for accepting Neils help and abusing his kindness- by writing a not very flattering post and causing "hurt and upset"

2 Jealous - because I had no one helping me repair the beast as I would only pay by cake and blow jobs and no one was allowed to come near me by dictate of their other halves - this is a belief that has been confirmed by not just the writer of the said post .

So I will apologise publicly to both Sarah for causing her upset and distress and also to Neil for feeling that he needed to write that he was chaperoned whilst repairing Dave in order to defend the implication that anything untoward had gone on .

I will spend the rest of the evening contemplating how and what I write and it's impact on others and to be more cautious in the future to prevent inadvertent hurt . :(

I will also spend more than this evening trying to work out how I try to come to terms with the fact that more people than I knew about also consider that I would use my body & hobby of baking to pay for repairs and what that says about me as a person :(

sam, to be honest, I will help anyone.
only request is i'm not out of pocket. if you need dragging back form Dundee, and I pick you up from Carlisle on lzir and take you to knutsford services for someone else to drag you the remainder, all i'd ask for is the diesel money, and a Guinness donation.

and i'd do that tomorrow, as long as I can get someone to collect the nipper from school.

to **** what anyone else thinks, and i'll wager this is quoted more than once by others.

Blue Beasty, can you empty your PM box

Oops  I's just pretending to be popular :p
