Right had a think about how to do this for the D1

My bumper is box section but using a sheet of plate cut at different heights and some little strengthening plates it could be done easily, the bends for the end are about 45* but using set tabs that I weld in at my end they could be bent accurately without a problem

For defender it would truly be a flat pack but I could do it in two ways, a stumpy which only comes out to just past the inner edge of the wings or a full one which comes out to the outer edge. Tapered ends so it looks good and simply bend to 90* on top and 60* on the bottom

As a side note, if anyone wants to try a flat pack D1 I'm in need of a new rear bumper in good condition and straight so would do a decent discount on that if someone nearby fancies a trade

Right, those of you who showed interest will be sent a PM in a bit, just annotating some CAD screenshots so you can get an idea of how it'll work

If anyone is interested further once seeing them I'll sort out making up a few more beta test models, its all built to be idiot proof. Defender ones have been annotated and disco ones are in the process

Shame am so far away or you could have had my rear bumper.

I will look in the shed if I still have my spare if so you can have it for price of postage.

lot of spam going about. you got a sponsership? you have slagged several for being semi pro breakers and know you are sounding like a full time pro bumper builder. Clive had to be a form sponsor to do his wears on here
