Anything is possible if you have deep pockets, you would need the geabox as well as the engine and someone who can sort out the comms between the engrine ECU and the BCM.

Of course it wil fit in!!
Do you think LR make a different size range rover to suit engine?
It won't be that hard!
You will need ECU and gearbox but I bet all the conectors are the same!
May have to change engine loom but that will mate up with the rest of the loom anyway!

Just wondering really, would a 3.6 TDV8 engine fit in my Td6 and would it be an easy conversion to do?

You really do ask some silly questions at times. Of course it will fit if you have about fifteen grand to spare.

No as silly as it looks.
Imagine that he brokes either TD6 engine or gearbox. That could be 5-6 grand to repair.
I'll be tempted to add 10 in order to have that engine under the hood.

Well i bloody wouldn't, he could fix the engine/gearbox sell it and have ten grand on top to get a TDV8 with. Asking if it would fit was the silly part.

Well, i'd be interested at putting either a TDV6 or a TDV8 in my P38.
Since it's now up to my taste and expedition ready, i don't want any L322

There is a company doing a TdV6 conversion for the P38, saw it in a French LR mag, came out at about €8K if I remember rightly, not sure if that included the uprated gearbox though.:)
