Returning to my original query... building my own wiring loom has me slightly confused. Enlightenment needed on the following:
* The heavy gauge wire from the alternator goes to the starter switch since the control box has been chucked, yes??
* Because it is a '62 2A diesel converted to petrol, I need to use the starter key under the dash to power up the starter motor and the ignition key in the dash to start her up? (The dash ignition doesn't have 0 1 2, it has only two postions on and off) I'm a bit unclear on which wire goes where.
* What I need is a Series 3 wiring diagram for the alternator part, yes? And jumping between 2A petrol and diesel wiring diagrams for the rest of it? Or can anyone point me at a wiring diagram for this type of 2A scenario as described above?
