My windows work fine, but everytime when pressing up I get the message that the window is not set. It does this for all 4.

Any ideas?

Have you had the battery disconnected? If you check the owners handbook it will tell you to open and close each window in a continuous movement. Worked for me!

I haven't diconnected the battery yet, but maybe previous owner did.
Unfortunately there's no owner's manual with the car.
Any chance of describing the procedure?

Not quite happy days yet. I still have to fit a new core plug in the block:(

Given the reliability of LR V8 blocks, you might be better to fit a new block to your core plug:hysterically_laughi

'cept he ain't even got the core plug. Its like I recently bought George Washington's axe, the same one he used to cut down the apple tree behind his mother's house. Except the blade had rusted through and been replaced and the handle had been eaten by termites so they'd fitted a new one. :p

He'd just bought a packet of ten new ones:p:p:p

I might need them all 10 too...give it some time :)

Gonna pick them up tomorrow. LR dealer is going to phone when they're in.
Hopefully in the morning so I have time to fit them/it :)

Also bought a new set of exhaust manifold gaskets to be safe.

Fingers crossed that'll be the engine sorted, but I have my doubts..lol
