£300 delivered seems pretty good?

Advice needed about the choices around this budget upto £400 max and don't want second hand. Thanks

I would speak to David Bowyer at Goodwinch. His winches are very highly rated and he often discounts the VAT if you collect from one of the many shows that he attends.

I had a quote from him for a TDS-9.5c with Dyneema Bowrope, an aluminium Hawse, a Defender Extension Wiring Kit, Cut Out Switch and Battery Link, all for under £600, so I'm sure he could do you a deal for under £400 if you're not looking for the fancy extras (the Dyneema Bowrope would have added over £100 to the price).

I have one and I will complain if it goes tits up,o payoffs My money and I expect something that will at least last a couple of years. I'm not doing comps or working in recovery so I don't believe it's unfair to expect 3-400 quids worth of equipment to last at least 2 years

Guess what I was saying is don't expect it to perform or last as long as there top of the line winch. And on there site They have a section about putting rope of there cheaper winches, as motor heat will mess the rope up, have a look at Super winch site has alot of good info
