seen a set of disco 2 alloys that i like but just wondering will they fit or will i need a adapter plate.

also how much will adapter plates cost if i do need them.

You need adapters and they are over twice the cost of normal wheel-spacers, you have to weigh up whether you really like the wheels enough to buy them. The cost of the Disco wheels & adapters togther will probably cost as much as buying a brand-new set of the correct alloys in the first place.

would they be that hard to make as im an engineer

i take it they arent no special steel etc

could i stick 5 bolts through from the back and weld them in there or do they need to be formed form one peice of steel

I thought you was an engineer FFS?? and the answer to your original question is D1 wheels will fit pre TD5 90/110's and D2 wheels will fit TD5 90/110's

okay i appreciate that was a bit of a simple explanation

when i say bolts i probably should have said studs

if i tapped the spacer then wound them in using threadlock

dont some vehicles use wind out studs

or could i just tap the spacer and use bolts to hold the wheel on rather than studs and nuts

hopefully thats a clearer explaination
