Look right or silly, and should i go for a different size tyre if i should fit them.

I have to get tyres in next wk or 2 prior to MOT and the arches is something i've been considering for a while, but i don't want to buy the set of tires then wish i'd done something different.

Any comments or better still.. pics, would be appreciated folks.

You won't need wide arches with 265/75. I have those on my 110, and they fit well under the stock arches.

This is mine with 265's and no spacers, I think it would look weird with wider arches

so for wide arches.. def 285s or more for sure, or do 285's still only need stock guys ??

We are in the process right now of fitting our new 16 x 8 deep dish modular's to our existing 265 75 special track tyres they do stick out more with these wheels fitted but as its just an advisory we are sticking with the stock arches but i do have a slightly damaged front wing that needs sorting as it makes the tyre look like its stuck out more than it is

Ive got 265/75 Cooper STTs on mine with spacers. They only just, by a smidge, extend out the arches. Nothing to worry about (for me anyway) unless your really anal!

got 285s on with 30mm spacers and -25 offset rims, definatly need to put bigger arches on, my standard arches are hanging off because they catch the tyres.

Cooper stt 265/75/16 on 0 offset modulars fit nicely under standard arches.

we have 265 75's on ours but with spacers and they do stick out slightly, we have got some wider wheel arches for it but never fitted them as you have to drill into body work with them, also reckon we would need a slightly wider wheel to make them look better, which may be a plan, the other plan is to sell the arches lol

ps ours are insa turbo special trax
