Hey all, I was picking my mum up from a friends and spotted an old staffi on his own.

We caught him, made a lead and did some door knocking but nobody knew him or the owner and his collar was blank.

We got him to a vet who scanned him showing he had a chip, his name is Reggie and there was a location but the address was in Middlesex and didn’t answer the vets call. So I am thinking either somebody moved down here and didn’t update the chip or they’re visiting and weren’t paying attention.

He’s an old boy and very slow so I doubt he ran here from Middlesex.

There were a few discos and a freelander or two down that road so thought it prudent to ask here too.

If anyone knows anything about this please let me know. He was found on the corner of St Thomas Avenue on Hayling Island.

I can’t post it to Facebook but the vet already has so hopefully that will turn something up.

Cheers lads.

Hope he finds his Mum and Dad again and he hasn't been chucked out cos he's getting on in years ...

Yup, news, i haven't got accurate news since i don't have facebook but i've been told that the owners daughter has been sent to get him from the vets. Had he been dumped then i would have had him until a proper home can be found regardless. So good news all round, the owners aware and also needs to update their ****ing chip details.

I might be reading this thread a few years too late :) but.... I'm in Hedge end, lightweight and a 110 twin cab. Always up for meeting new like-minded folk! I do some deer management on a rather large local estate and this winter might want some help opening up a few tracks through the woods again, landrover and chain saw stylée! Might be able to accommodate some members in some very exclusive woodland.

Am 'ere too. Was up at the Churchilian pub last Saturday afternoon, also a tidy series in the car park.
Also spotted a chunky 90 kinda tray back along with the motorbikes by the burger stand.
Trying to shift work around to get to Beaulieu on the 24th, is a bit tight coz I got Billing's the weekend after.

Oooh, I likes the idea of exclusive :D

Are any of you folks in the group of Landrovers I see meeting up at "Mick's Monster Burgers" above pompy sometimes?

Yes, often, can highly recommend the belly buster burger with cheesy chips, will put £5 on it you can't eat it all ;)

One question, will your light weight be a slightly less cringe worthy colour by the time we goes off roading?

Do you want to tag along on a green lane jaunt one weekend?
