I thought better check the damage in the boot as it has never had anything done to it rust wise. Got mot in may and it had advisory on body mount corrosion.

Got hole on off side and smaller hole near side near back doors but the rest of boot seems fine and the sills and arches don't seem too bad.

Does it look repairable the boot floor ? Or is that whole new boot etc.

Cheers

I'd say it looks repairable compared to some I've seen that never had a boot floor for a repair job, how good are you with a welder?

only ever done it once I would probably get a mate to do it, gonna say iv seen worse before so a decent welder should be able to sort it?

I would say a decent welder would make a proper job of it and it would be as good as new, all ready for mot :)

Will you be giving it a wax oil underneath as you'll have the fuel tank out anyway, makes it last alot longer and always looks good for an mot

Looking at the pics most of where the worst rust is is not on the boot floor panel anyway so it should repair ok.

That dont look to bad.easily done.floor pan looks ok.just the surroundings aint.but could be patched up.

That looks like mine did, once you start digging you generally find more.

I am thinking about buying the whole boot floor, company selling them on eBay including the side panels and straps for £200.

Keep us updated.

Appreciate your comments. I shall see if my welder will patch it up as most boot floor in good nick and will be cheaper. Never want to spend too much dolla on it as You don't know what's around the corner on these!
Yeah will let u know result
Cheers
