Me and my brother done a couple of lanes yesterday, this evening I have noticed a tingy rattle from the rear when going over speed bumps. I looked underneath briefly with the torch and it seems as tho the exhaust may have caught and bent a mount.

Who has modified there mounts to lift the exhaust and how? At the minute it sits about 2inches below the bottom of the VCUs lowest point, I would like it roughly the same!

I lifted mine a inch, by putting jubliee clips round the exhaust rubbers, and tightening them right up. Now just got custom smaller mild steel back box which cost me £50ish

I was thinking of doing this but don't know how. Think I will try the jubilee clips 1st that sounds like a cheap mod to try

I had a "flatter" stainless box made up, custom job in Cardiff by pro speed exhaust.

I will get some jubilee clips from work today. Thanks for that lads.

How much did them back boxes cost? The outer skin has gone on mine, it's not blowing yet, but the MOT is due in April.

My small mild steel backbox was around £50 fully fitted, they just cut the old one off and welded the new one in place. Will post a pic later for you.
