you are confusing humour with touchy here. i am neither touchy, american, related to an american, nor wound up. i am infact, sat here drinking coffee, smoking, and laughing as i read this. if you consider a satirical reply as being touchy then you really are batting below the average ;)

ere Yella - I know its orf topic - but do yu actually EAT sheep? with a knife and fork I mean - before yu think of summat else.;)

no mate, sheep when served as a meal is called mutton, and its as tough as old boots, where lamb on the other hand is a succulent tasty meat which, im sure, even parasite will agree is possibly one of the finest tasting red meats we know ;)

right, im off shopping so as much as i would love to continue this fun unfortunately as today is saturday and many of you are aware, i have to look after the binlids, therefore i will return later ;)

me too - well not orf shopping - boss is away till wednesday - so its workin on GT40 time (oh and the occasional sojurn to the Portsmouth)

There will be no excuse for anybody... if they can deal it, they better beable to take it. I just got up and logged on and Yella has already offended me! To call us less than a parisite!!! No selfrespecting American eats mutton or lamb. We have it in the markets just for the transplant eastlanders who move here from time to time and I have tried both. I would not even feed it to my dogs!!

No that yella belly bastard is not me cousin!!!! We are more like brothers:D as my family bloodline is all mixed up between English, Welsh, Irish, and Polish.

I think the parasite reference was aimed at pariah?
You ought to try lamb - or mutton (slow cooked brings out the flavour). You dont know what you are missing. Nothing to beat a good English (OK British) roast dinner with roast tatties, parsnips and yorkshire puddings wiv lashings of gravy. One day yu mite be lucky to try it!

crikey - is that the time - lunch:D

I will hold off on the gravy.... They think it is the cats meow here in the south (kentucky) but most folks don't touch the stuff in the north east. I do like a little chip beef on toast from time to time though. Not big on ale, but give me some unfiltered oatmeal stout and I'll drink the whole keg.

Ale = Formerly, unhopped beer.

Beer = Hopped ale

Pale ale = High in malt bouquet and well hopped with a dry,fresh clean taste.

Real ale = Beer made without the use of chemicals, some good, some absolutely ****e. Harped on about as marvelous by beardy types with BO.

Cider = Brewed from apples, a very nice drink especialy on a hot summers day. It's specific purpose is to destroy brain cells.

you aren't a real ale afficionado then, Mr Grunt?

You dont mention that some Ciders are on a par with the worst Real Ales.
