Morning

Me and a pal are planning a weekend in Wales soon and need to order OS maps. We have 187 which covers Strata Florida, but was going to order a few more and was wondering which other maps to buy? I don't expect to be given a list of lanes, we will do our homework, just an idea of which maps people tend to use most would be fantastic

Also, if anybody could recommend any beautiful places to camp (and I'm sure in Wales there's an endless list), that would also be most appreciated!

Best thing to do is look here https://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/shop/ click on the interactive map for wales and then the areas you want in wales and it will show you map number you need. Depends which scale you want I find 150k does the job for me

North mid or south Wales????

I also prefer Landranger to Explorer maps cos you don't have to buy as many of them

Camping soon? jeez, that's hardcore....can suggest b&b though.

If you've got an iPad type device, look for an App called Outside Maps.
An absolute must for the Greenlaner.

Then go to the top right and select the OS 1927-1947 version of the area. Hours of browsing.

Weather permitting will be either weekend before or after new year, in the back of the Land Rovers
