Does it really matter what flush you use, I suppose getting the oil right is the main concern.

Having said that, I was going to use some Slick50 flush and noted it states for petrol engines or light duty diesel engines.

Would the TD4 be classed as a light duty diesel engine....My guess is yes but any advice would be appreciated.:D

If you adhere to the proper servicing schedule none of the snake oil is needed, the rest of the car will fall to bits first if the engine is a good one.
Waxoiling the underbody would be a better idea.

Thanks, I appreciate the TD4 engine is probably the strongest part of this 4x4 but I still aim to change the oil regularly. I have just got the motor but and I have already changed the oil filter and oil, the air filter, crankcase breather, AFM, fuel pump, fuel filter and the vcu.

I love pottering about on cars so I have picked the right one to keep me busy :D
