Finally got a CB radio after I found I really did need one on the LZ weekend. Thing is - I am not sure where to put it! So can I have some piccies of where yours are in your Landy (Fender preferably) to give me some inspiration.

Thankies :D

I bought a mud stuff dash and fitted it there

Thanks for the piccy but I don't like the mud dash - too big and bulky. You do have the same Pioneer head unit stereo as me tho :p

I've just got one and am fitting it into my mud style dash for now but I've got my stereo fitted under the dash so I may swap them around. Waiting on the din mounting kit coming in then I'll take a pic of it once fitteduploadfromtaptalk1401807071675.jpg. Not great but you can see where my stereo is and where I may put the cb. Mount it's in cost about a fiver

hmmm I was thinking that I might mount it on the front of the cubby box but I think it will stick out too much.

You don't, there's plenty space. Look at where my stereo is mounted and that's a lot bigger than a cb

here is where mine is

I've got a sub/amp there hah or that's probably where it would be :roll eyes:

Looks like its either going on the underside of the dash or on the cubby at the moment (if it all fits).

In a box in the garage for now but will be fitting it shortly once I have decided where to fit it plus where to fit the twigg aswell :D

I got my CB just here, and its a big 80s retro jobbie (I just like em :) ) touches the fusebox cover at the side, but just enough room to not get in the way,
got me a recoil thingy to fit tonight if I get time for the mic. :)

Our Marine VHF is mounted on the fuse box cover.

The bracket has been bolted through and the whole lot comes off easily if it's needed to.

Lecky supply and antenna connection is via a 4-pole cannon-type plug.

The antenna is mounted in the centre of the roof.

I would post a piccy, but she's currently at the tin-worm doctor :(

Doesn't sound like a bad idea, I will see how it looks/fits. Yer can guarantee the supplied power cable with it wont reach though
