Hey up lads and ladies (though probs not many of the latter on here), im new here after purchasing a freely2.
Its a 2013/14, gs, fairly basic and missing quite a few of the nice bits on the hse's id want to port over, so be sure to come mock me.on those threads when I get there.
Its stock, well looked after and im looking to get it to a nice overland build.
One thing im currently trying to, is determine what's the max ride height we can get out of these from stock? Ive come.off rhe back of 2x ford rangers and a nissan navara, and one thing im massively missing is the clearance and height (yes of course, comparing apples to oranges) however one of the reasons why ive only ever had bigger vehicles is im disabled, and bending down to get in/out of a smaller car really hurts me, the step up into something bigger is really helpful
For a lot of reasons, I went with a freelander after doing a gell of a lot of research, and am very happy with what I have in terms of a vehicle, bit it just needs a bit more height for me (plus for offroading it'll help too).
So ive seen the muddy 40:50mm kits, which im interested in, but im wondering if there are lift/tyre combos that would give me something a bit more to work with? Like, what are the max wheel and tyre sizes we can get away with, without rubbing etc.
