Hi ya all!
Real stupid question but.....where the fool is the fuel filter on my discovery 2 v8 petrol??
Everyone is telling me it is under the offside rear wheel arch/chassis but I'm fooked if I can find it!
I need pics before you can convince me it really is there! Lol

I've just read throught the fuel delivery section for the V8 Disco in RAVE and TBH it doesn't mention a fuel filter. The drawings show a direct pipe connection between the fuel pump in the tank, which incidentally does have a gauze filter built into it and the "Tee" joint sharing the fuel between the two injector rails.
The diesel Disco does have a fuel filter under the rear offside wheelarch and that is shown in the RAVE drawings. So I would surmise that on the petrol Disco, petrol being a cleaner fuel to start with, a filter wasn't fitted.
No doubt aftermarket in-line fuel filters can be fitted to the fuel line at the entrance to the "Tee" joint.

The D2 V8 was never fitted with a fuel filter but it does have a strainer in the tank which is part the fuel pump.
It's the D1 V8 where you'll find a proper inline fuel filter mounted on the chassis behind the offside rear wheel.
