Hi everyone - I'm from Bolton. I've got a battered old LR that keeps on breaking down - BUT I love 'em regardless and that's why am here (also plan to buy a new one soon and seeking advice on what to get next).

Hello everyone, first I like to say it an awesome forum you have here!!! Full of useful information and great people.
I'm currently in Bucharest Romania, and now the owner of a freelander 1.8 2000 which seems to be in good condition considering it's age.
I read a lot here about the issues that the 1.8 petrol has especially the Head gasket failure.
If anyone here is from Bucharest and knows a good honest service that really understand landrover I would love to know.
I don't speak the Romanian so it's really hard for explaining some of the issues I read about here to a mechanic :)
