A few years ago around local election time , candidates have their posters put up here there and everywhere . This included one on a telegraph pole at the entrance to a farm . A couple of days later , under the candidates poster appeared one advertising ' Horse Manure for sale ' . How apt we thought for the candidate whom unfortunatly had had his poster displayed over the top !

went to bulgaria last year for 10 days and some clever sod had picked up on the british "happy hour" but didn't quite understand the meaning of it... anyway, most places did happy hour, from 3pm onwards but one crazy bulgarian fool took it too far...

happy hour, all day every day!

 i think i have a picture somewhere...

On the road from Penryn to Falmouth there is a Jewish cemetry , not unusual in Cornwall , in fact there are several further down the county . The funny thing about this one was that Vospers (Ford) had a garage right next door to it with a banner on the wall reading 'Body repairs available here ' !

My landrover was new in 1998, is it still young enough to be ebay new ? Its only covered 80,000 miles

A local outdoor leisure shop near Newton Abbot had a large Ad running in the local press , whereby they were ridding themselves of old stock before the new spring stock arrived . The particular headline for this Ad read ' Now is the winter of our discount tents ' .
