Decided I am going to break for spares, but want to keep the new parts.

Will P38 wheels fit on a series 2 discovery, or are they a different stud pattern?
 
well from what i have seen on the auction site, they advertise disco 2 and P38 on same wheels. i may well be corrected.

what style are they and how much?
 
they are five spoke with the double spoke (not sure of the name of them). They are in excellent condition with almost new Grabber AT's. Probably worth more than the car itself, so I am looking at buying a Discovery 2 and keeping the wheels. Could do with the extra seats to be honest. When I bought the RR we had a Mercedes Viano for family trips, but that had to go, so left with the pup.

Also has two brand new airbags, water pump, radiator, hoses and a host of other things which are too painful to recall at present.

Sound like vogues (L322) or hurricanes (P38) and assume they are 18". D2 Wheels same as P38 but not sure if D2 needs Spigot rings as for P38.
 
I know that L322 wheels do fit both P38 and disco 2's but im sure both needs spigot rings to the correct fitment
 
got the L322 20's on mine with spigot rings. if they are double spokes, could well be Hurricanes on 18"
 
You may need to keep the wheel nuts too. I've a feeling some of the Discos have smaller wheel nuts than my P38.
 
P38 and Disco 2 are the same fitment. L322 are the same PCD but larger centre bore, hence the need for spigot rings when fitting L322 wheels to a P38 or D2.
 
I'm after some l322 20 wheels on my d2 do I just need the spigot rings or the l322 wheel nuts too?
 
Wheel nuts on my P38 and Disco 1 are identical. Centre bore sizes are 70.3 (P38 / D2) and 72.5 (L322) fI memory serves... (standing by to be corrected if wrong)

I bought some Disco (2?) wheels off Fleabay for my P38 for winter tyres. The nuts on my P38 were so big they didn't fit in the holes! Had to go back and retrieve the nuts too!

I suppose they might have been on an L322 before he put them on his Disco?!
