Hi all
Ive just looked at a 90 that was put in to a hedge not much damage but its jarred the wing bulkhead and tub so I took a tape measure to the wheels and theres an inch difference between wheels us this ok or is there a bit more damage ?
Cheers

only an inch?

they were further out than that when they left Solihull

Just out of curiosity have ya ever offroaded a land rover ??

No.....I just own two offroad specced ones because I like the way they clog up the driveway  ffs some noobs are right tards

But I suppose I'd better ask....

Have you  because most people who offroad them don't try and crash through hedges in an attempt to bend the chassis

To answer your question......Have you actually cut down and used a motor Offroad??When you say offroad do you mean comps? if so YES and YES is the answer.

Have you ever measured a non ####ed with landrover or Range rover classic. Measure the wheel base on a Range rover classic you may well be surprised at the outcome.

I was going to give a simple clear answer but you seem a bit of a twit. Therefore enjoy finding the answer I suggest you start with a RRC and measure wheelbase each side. then measure a std 90 side to side and then measure your's P.s if you ended up in a hedge you may need some more driving skills. May I suggest you join a club and try trials then maybe CCV comps and then compsafari. You get to practice how to avoid hedges daily then. ENJOY!

I once parked a 406 on a grass verge if that counts?

What fora are you admin on so that I can join and see if you are such a numb cwnt on those as you are on here?
I'm into militaria, the paranormal, smallholdings, urbex, the Cold War and gardening primarily.
Also Jeeps and certain aspects of Norse mythology.

:)

You seem aggressive, are you young?

I'm grapppling with my sexuality at the moment and I think a 'strong willed' young man might be what I need to confirm or deny my feelings...

Where are you located?

Basically if you posted this in the correct section you would have "slightly" Less abuse. I'll do you a favour....try the 90/110/defender section. Then you may just avoid the majority of the frisky bisexual man lovers (They usually drive freelanders/discos). You stand the chance of a serious answer which by the way I was going to give until you started slagging off the very forum you want help from.

2 choices,
1 leave and forever be landyzone hater,
or
2 say sorry swallow your pride call us C~*ts and move on by asking the question again.

If you readed the post the " I looked at a 90 that was put in a hedge " would mean its not mine ! If I started with ive just put my 90 in hedge then yes ! And ive been driving rtv and ccv for a few years ! But im thinking of buying this 90 and knowing the driver put in the hedge I put a tape to it !!

P.s if you cannot take abuse. This really isn't the forum for you. if your broad shoulderd and can take a bit of banter (the sign of a real character) you'll fit right in.

Jon I'll tell you what I will measure my 90 tomorrow evening. I cant do it now its dark.

~Out of interest what was the measurements you got?

Ok who do you trial with???

Jono clearly doesn't trial as even the greenest noob freelader owner knows that a twisted chassis or heavilly accident damaged vehicle isn't worth a second loojk if you have to join a new forum and post a daft question in the wrong section particularly if you're a member of 20 different forums and are admin on some of those...

Any clues as to the fora you admin Jonny?

Are you twink or a bear?

Bushwacker unfortunatly your not on the money today. I know a firm that used to have to scrap the chassis on Every RRC after even a minor knock simply because the wheelbase was out by upto 1.3/4 inch side to side. they had to put EVERY RRC on the hydraulic pullers to pull it back in line. which never worked so they quoted a new chassis. Then they wised up and measured a RRC parked out on the forcourt which funnily enough was out by the same ammount.

I'd find another 90 of the same year measure that and go from there. myself and in that instance the question is actually a valid one!

Wot we looking for

Did you drive out of "that little rut"?

Jonny asked you but you didn't answer... I bet he would have done it without even clogging the tread...

Alrc and bushy this will be my first landy that Ive brough ive had the pleasure of using my dads 90 for rtv and his v8 ccv so ive not had the worry about if they are stright or no !

Bur like I say it went in the hedge ( someone else driving in bad weather) then dad got it for spares and hes offered it to me for doing rtv in so knowing its been put in the hedge you look to see if its square !
Got to lift engine and gearbox out so that will let us have a better look but so far it dont look like anything has move or kinked on the rails so this is why i posted
