I havent had to replace mine yet! Thankfully mine came with a full set of practically new Pirelli Scorpions...

looking at this thread is making me dread having to buy new tyres at some point! When did bits of rubber get so expensive??? The only time Ive ever bought tyres for me car was my old astra, but even then I took it to a part-worn tyre place and got em all done for £15 each! :D

£750 for 4 Continental 4X4 Contact 235/50/18. I'm hoping they wear better than the Pirelli Scorpions they've replaced.

Yep I did that.....ever since I get them off eBay with 5-6mm tred for £40-£60 a corner.
You have to keep a regular watch though as they don't come up that often in this size........although you can also go for the cross contact uhp in this size aswell.

That's a considerable saving, but I can't bring myself to take the risk with part-worn tyres.
Although I only do 4000mls a year and no motorway driving, I prefer new tyres. Always have.
The reason I went with these was to make all tyres the same as the unused spare.

got my 4 tyres changed today, as i know winters apparoaching and the tread was getting less and less, they lasted me since i bought the car a year ago though. so went into my local tyre fitters shop today and bought some basic road tyres.
£316 including tracking. It is expensive but the most i ever paid was for my old freelander van i used to have, that was £400 for avon ranger tyres which were top notch stuff.
so winter coming and u put basic rd tyres on it nice:eek::eek::eek:

Just short of £200 for 4 Kingpin 195/80/15 AT's
Served me VERY well offroading at Stainby a few weeks ago, and although a little noisier than the cheap summer tyres, I am very pleased with them so far.

dont get alot of snow in my area mate, maybe a couple of days a year and the roads round this way are all gritted anyway.
to be honest i begrudge paying bank balance breaking amount of money for sporty or off road tyres. i dont go off road , i rarely go over 70mph unless im running late for work and i literally do 5000 miles a year.

5x pirelli scorpian str's on mine. 215/65R16 98H size. Supply + fit for £576. Fitted about 14 months ago.

Under £350 for 4 Yokohama Geolander AT-S in 215/65/16. Should be the last set I,ll be buying for some years :)

Here's a little tip, next time get 4 Yokohama Geolander AT-S at around! £85 each fitted!! The Geolanders will last at least twice as long as standard budget road tyres and will get you wherever you fancy driving whatever the weather can throw at you!! I'v been using them for years with astonishing milage and ability for the money they cost.
