There you go mate, thats the pirces on parkers !!

the ill feeling towards freelander owners does my tits right in btw !!!! i used to own a 300Tdi disco and use a defender 90 pickup at work at the end of the day the all don the green oval.

appart from ground clearence and lack of a low ratio they are a very capable off roader! NOW name me a landrover that dosen,t have ANY faults (hears a couple, discos 200,300 series2 leaking sun roofs, eletrics and p38s ecu condenstion eletrics!!!). I suppose your right the freelander is crap, Oh wait a min they took the HDC and put it in the Disco 3!!!!

If you want a freelander, from what I have been told, the TD4 is the one to get.
If ya liners in your 1.8 drop .003" the engine is fooked

agreed thats what i have, the 2.0ltr xdi is really sluggish (our neighbour has one and thats her only complaint with it)

well when i bought my 52 freelander checked out parkers and Landrover monthly the price we paid for was bang on in the middle!!!!

Just checked this month's Glasses Guide and you should only be looking at £2000 private or about £2500 from a trader/dealer. Anything more and they're taking the mick - or they've valued it using Parkers!!

Cheers

Hmmmm parkers
Private Good £2,715
Private Poor £2,055

Glasses guide
£2000 - £2500

lol thats a huge difference in prices there  !!!!!

ere Scotti, have you got a copy of Parkers and Glass there? If so could yer do us a (non landy related) favour? if not don't worry!

you can go on their websites Oddie and get a valuation off there. But to be honest Parkers is a joke and if you pay what they say you should your ripping yourself off

Tis a car i'm part exing for a lower value one, just wondered where the best place is to find out what the dealer should be giving me for mine - i think he's taking the p155 but just wanted to check, what do you reckon is the best place to check?

Is a much bigger difference though isn't it. If your gonna quote and compare try not to twist it to suit your self. Especially if your using figures you've already posted.

Glasses guide at £2000 max for a good private one means a poor one is worth about £1200.

A huge saving on your quotes.

Glasses is probably best as it's the one the dealers look at. If you say "Well parker say's it's worth £XXX" he'll know you don't know what your talking about. But if you quote Glasses prices he'll know he's got no room to bull****.

have you got an up to date glasses - or know where there's one online (which i don't need to pay for!!) (coz i'm tight as a knats arse):D

That's what i tried, put in all the details, got to the end and they demanded 3 and a half of me hard earned squid!

Ae you have ter pay but if it saves or earns yu a couple of hundred it's a bargain int it???

i know but parkers is shoite so.....

full circle...

does anyone have the up to date Glass guide which i could use for free coz i'm, a tight bastid...
