Hi Guys,

The sad day is finally here and I must part company with my freelander, before I do though I need a realistic price that I might get.

It's TD4 Sport Premium, Java Black, Full leather, 6 Disc, Side Steps, 12 Tax, 12 MOT, Manual Box, ect ect ect...86000 miles

Its missing folding mirrors and that's all, its got everything else it could need.

I paid £8000 for it 30 months ago from a Landy dealer and I've seen one for £8200 at a dealer this week which is almost identical to mine.

So, whats it worth, I dont want to ask for a stupid amount and not sell for months, but I dont want to let it go for peanuts.

PS. I know I'm not going to get £8000 for it..

Oops, sorry Yeah its an 04,

I was thinking about that price between £4500 and £5000, but it's in great condition so hopefully nearer £5000.

Thats it, you can not gauge dealer prices easily, so varied

And they always use the wrong stock photo, the premium didn't have "sport" on the side .... afaik

Mine has the "Sport system" sticker. It's a Sport Premium.
Still, just price realistically and similar to other private sellers.
Check Autotrader too.

Does it have a full service history, any parts changed recently (like the VCU)?

Based on the prices I saw when the wife was looking for hers it's got to be worth arround £5k, service history will sell it faster, as will information about the state of the tyres etc :)
