This is NOT a for sale advert, just would like to know what my Disco would be worth when/if the time comes to sell, been working out finances and stuff last few days...

Its a 3door 1996 grey 300TDi Discovery.

Within last year: Swivels rebuilt, diff/gearbox/tbox fluids changed, fuel tank flushed, front and rear brakes, handbrake cables.

Within last 2 years: brand new head, bottom end refreshed, axles rebuilt.

Boot floor 7/10
Sills 7/10
Bodywork condition 7.5/10 (greenlane scratches, small dent to rear quarter and front wing)
Interior condition 9/10

Never been heavily offroaded, pay and plays etc. Never been dunked deep in water either. Top of wheel rims maximum.

Never been off tarmac in last 6 months!

So come on, what would you think it'd sell for if I were to advertise it, its not your usual battered shonky Discovery....both me and the previous owner have spent lots of money on it!

You wont get what its worth to you selling it complete , money wise you would do better putting it back to standard and selling all the trick kit seperate . My opinion only .
 
If you're putting it back to standard in a few months I'd probably be interested in the Allisport bits/swap the original bits I have plus cash for them
 
To be honest I did think about when the time comes stripping it down etc but I hate having money coming in in dribs and drabs, plus I have nowhere to break it nor the time to do so. If its worth sod all as a whole then i'll hang on to it, if it is worth something then i'll probably look at getting rid soon.
 
hang on in there, the problem is that s1 disco's are at the lowest they'll be right now, just look at the rr classics, 10 yrs ago they were as cheap as chips now they're rocking horse crap.
