That were mine leaked, when I looked at the sunroof, I could literaly move the front to rear and sise to side as the seal between the sunroof mount and the roof had gone, so it was an headline out , remove both sunroof's, clean and reseal, inside nad out pblanking the holes were the drains are in the frame, with a bit of plastic and sealer blow through the drains recover the headline and put it all back in

Hi,what I found on mine was the glass to frame seals were ok it was the frame to roof where 'one' of the water ingress problems were. If you do take the frames out make sure you clean ALL the old stuff off, same goes for the roof itself (I used Sikaflex on mine) & as @frostythor says the gutter drains need careful attention (mine looked ok but I still sealed them). The top windscreen rubber is also a source of ingress so I ran a bead under the rubber, then there's the roof bar gaskets, replace those whilst your there. If you've do all them, then before you refit the lining, sit in it whilst someone hoses it down with lots of water & check for leaks, that's when I discovered the gutter putty was leaking due to cracking ! Good luck.

I've been on holiday so apologies I didn't see this sooner

They're all old and the rubber seals deteriorate and/or flatten over time.

I just think that most people don't care enough about opening them so take the simplest/cheapest route of sealing them up.
My seal has definitely flattened down, I could see light through a gap between it and the glass when I was hoovering the back seats, I've ordered another one and it was £30 but I read that it's a tricky job so that could be why people don't do it.
I'll give it a shot and let you know how it goes
I have dripping at the sun visor area. Would this likely be the sunroof or the gutter? Or even the windscreen?

On mine the water came out around the interior light fitting ect first when I braked for the first turn from my house then in the corner it would run across and come run out around the a pillar and left similar stains

I would have thought if the seal was leaking it should drop into the frame & then drain through the tubes, it's when they leak between the frame & roof itself it finds its way onto the headlining (amongst many other ways of course) !

I tested the drains in the sunroof and the passenger drain is blocked, all the guides I found of people unblocking the drains have the headliner out and I really don't want to take it out because the cloth has separated from the board.
Is there any way to do it without taking the headliner out?
The issue is my drain is blocked and when I poured water into the channel it backed up and came through the holes onto the headliner board
From some research the drains should only be for taking away any water that runs off the glass when the roof is opened so replacing the seal should stop rain filling the drain in the first place

I couldn't unblock the drain either due to some side steps that have been fitted

I fitted the new seal and it worked as I hoped
replacing the seal should stop rain filling the drain in the first place
so I can tick that job off my list, thanks for everyone's help.

But I have one more problem I was hoping someone might know how to fix,
The passenger front door doesn't unlock but it will lock and the passenger rear door is the same although sometimes it unlocks, but when it doesn't and I press the unlock button on the key again it will then unlock

As you probably know you can have the locks set for single entry, first push of the button opens drivers door only then a second push opens the remaining three, then there's global entry which opens all four doors on the first push. These entry situations can be changed with a nanocom or maybe others. Not sure if this helps you.

I don't think that's the issue as the rear door and drivers side back door both open normally with one press of the unlock button

Hi, I think it probably needs replacement door locks. I had this with my D2 & FL1 (D2 drivers door, FL fr. passenger door) where they would lock but could only be opened from inside. I have both mine set to single entry where as yours sounds like it's set to global.

It's been like it since I brought it, I didn't know you could set it to single entry

Are the locks serviceable? I don't know how they work but i would assume it's a mechanical issue as they still lock
