Oh the shame...the ignominy....of the last 10 vehicles that I have had on the back of me Recovery truck, there have been 3 Gaylanders, 1 Discovery, 1 RRC, and 1 Defender!!! All less than 8 years old. What is the world coming to????

that could be said about every other vehicle, not just LRs - and nearly every other consumer product, the days of self service and make do and mend are long gone
is all part of this horribly commercial world

i think the defender will be phased out of production in the future or replaced with some modern rubbish, either way the landrover workhorse is dead.
my freelander has been so good because its got nothing in it, just the basics.
