Oh the shame...the ignominy....of the last 10 vehicles that I have had on the back of me Recovery truck, there have been 3 Gaylanders, 1 Discovery, 1 RRC, and 1 Defender!!! All less than 8 years old. What is the world coming to????

recovery is a good business to be in?

Maths was never my strong point, but how'd you figure a classic less than 8 years old:confused:;)
Aye,,,ok..I don't know much about Rangies - was a personalised plate and excellent condition. (except that the immobiliser wouldn't let it go anywhere!)

i think that landrovers are now being sold to a wider market and people who know nothing about maintenance are buying them thinking they are invincible 4x4 machines.
they are then just running them til they break.

shame the **** that breaks is £££££££££££££££ personally there should have been two directions work horse and Executive models and workhorse should be stripped of all excessive electronics

that could be said about every other vehicle, not just LRs - and nearly every other consumer product, the days of self service and make do and mend are long gone

is all part of this horribly commercial world

i think the defender will be phased out of production in the future or replaced with some modern rubbish, either way the landrover workhorse is dead.

my freelander has been so good because its got nothing in it, just the basics.
