They look different from the US boxers. Didn't know if they had some bull dog in them as there face looks like they have run into a Mack truck head first
I've owned boxers for over 25 years, 10 in all. The one on the left is from one of Scotland's top breeders, who have bred over 20 champion dogs, the other two are rescue dogs from Boxer Welfare Scotland. Most people we meet describe them as "cute" or "handsome". The wee one might not be the best looking dog in the world, but he has an amazing personality for one who's been through some rough times. I'd still rather see his face at the door when I come home than yours
Are American breeders still mutilating boxers' ears for cosmetic purposes?

It is called cosmetic surgery, something like women getting a nose job, or a tit lift, or just getting silicon tits. Why would anyone put chemicals into there body like that, bags of silicon

Going back to the original question, l'd fit the genuine LR dog guard. It's expensive, but a great piece of kit and very strong.
It fits with no drilling or riveting, and you can remove the top section in a couple of minutes when you don't need it.
The next best thing is the Travall one, but it requires drilling/rivets.
I went through all the options and ended up with the LR one. I tried the Britpart one piece but didn't rate it.

Try your local Indy....if you are a regular their markup is lower than the main dealer. I saved 10% which is only £30, but still better in my pocket.
When l bought my TD5 rev counter it was £50 cheaper (than the main dealer)

You may be right but I have already ordered one from Rimmer Bros. If it turns out to be rubbish then it gets replaced. Generally the shepherd is very good, the husky a bit more unpredictable. So we will see.
Perhaps I should starts a Land Rover Rover thread. Lol. Dogs and Defenders photos. It must have been done.

I don't have a dog!

I bought it to stop my tools and other stuff in the back from taking my head off in the unlikely event that l ever have a crash.

How does the genuine one fit?
As for strength, mine is about 20 years old and survived a rollover on the road!

The genuine one bolts to the floor, the bulkhead, and existing holes in the roof where the lining clips in, using brackets.

We used to carry up to 4 Rough Collies at a time in the hatchback car, two would occupy the boot, two the back seats , they were just taught to lie down when the car was moving and to stay on those areas all the time unless told otherwise.
