I'm trying to find some original oils for the gearbox, the transfer box and the rear diff, but as some of you know it's difficult to get the originals.

Haynes recommends:

Texaco MTF 94 x 2litres Gearbox

Texaco S5 75W90 to API GL5 x 1.1litres IRD (Front Diff)

Texaco 80W90 ETL 7441 to API GL5 x 0.83 litres Rear Diff

So what do you lot used instead?

I just went into local motor shop, similar to motorworld, with Haynes manual in hand, I said I would like these oils please, I got gear box, IRD and one other, can't remember which one it was. He brought out his catalogue and said he had two of the three in stock, and one was an alternative, also listed in the Haynes.
Go to a local one and ask mate, I did and I'm happy with them so far.

um. . . . .you dont say what motor . . . .is it an auto or a manwell , these are need to know

I'm guessing that he's got a manual, due to asking for MTF.

Manual, I think the oil is different for automatic transmission

Manual what? 1.8 petrol, 2.0 L-series diesel, or 2.0 M47 diesel????????????
