So, as per my other thread, I've finally acquired a 300tdi csw.

We have had a 300tdi disco for years, but its all the the body etc that I need to get sorted on this one.

Brooklands has various documnets, but I'm not certain what would be best.

Exploded diagrams and part numbers are going to be the most help, I think.

Any pointers?

I have found various video's on YouTube to be most helpful. I have a Hayns and a proper Lard Rover Manuel but I find I use YouTbe more.

Although I have the Haynes manual and the Land Rover factory manual, I find the most useful thing is the parts catalogue. The exploded diagrams are a bit small, but beautifully detailed. In another thread I'm working on my transmission, and for those situations where you have a combination of cogs, spacers, bearings and washers and can't quite remember what order they're supposed to go in, and what direction the dome of the washer should face, it's a godsend.

The only parts docs with diagrams that I've found so far are pdfs assembled from scanned paper docs...

Are there some nice sharp ones about that im missing?

I never quite understand how people manage that!

Whenever I'm doing anything, I'm generally up to my elbows in oil, rust in my eyes, torn gloves on my hands, with oil seeping under...

I'm not even sure if touchscreens work under those conditions.

I also am normally too impatient to keep stopping (even if it would save me time in the long run!)

I guess I'm actually kind of envious of those who can do it!
