I bought one of these Clarke CTJ3000G - 3 Tonne Professional Garage Jack - Machine Mart last time MM had a VAT free promotion. Well pleased so far. I carry a cheap trolley jack in the 90 for if I need it when I'm out and about.

it is exactly the same jack as the machine mart one,but a lot cheaper.mine arrived the other day and i am very very pleased with it.

for the money you cannot go wrong bud.i have bought a good few jacks and this is up there with the best of it's type.for less money.

I bought one of these after reading a few posts on here and around the net, and I must say I'm very pleased!
2.5 TON HYDRAULIK BOTTLE JACKS,BRAND NEW OFF MERC SPRINTER VANS,100 IN STOCK. | eBay
I love the fact that when compressed it just fits nicely under the axle, and within a matter of 3 or 4 seconds the wheel is off the floor as there is no body to raise on suspension first.
Also so much more compact than a hoofing trolley jack, but just as capable, and probably better made.
Oh, and they raise to nearly 2ft!
