best advcice would be to wait , spend a few weeks browsing forums like this one asking questions , thers a lot to buying an old landy and thers a really good chance you will end up with a bucket of sh*te.
dont buy the first one you see , never , ever.
test drive as many as you can.
dont listen to the seller , a decent landrover will sell itself.
take someone with you , very important this , someone who knows land rovers.
do your homework , thers lots of different types of landrover , engines , drive trains etc etc. defo do your homework first.
if i were you id give my self a month.
i jumped into the landy ive got and bought it on a whim , it turned out to be a right bag of old dung, it took me 8 months and over 4k to rebuild it.
