if you have a look at storey wilsons site
here then you will understand the eas a bit better.
LR spent lots of money developing the suspension and setting up the heights, the people involved were much more familiar with the eas than you or me, keep this in mind!
if you download the software and instructions to it, it explains what should and should not be done! the values for each of the height catagories are as folows:
Front Rear
Extended 120-180 105-150
Standard 95-150 85-130
Low 75-140 75-120
Access 50-110 50-100
you could set the standard height to near the low height thus giving no difference between motoway and normal!
this will only cost you a few quid for a lead, the software is free and you can return it to the original heights if your not happy with the settings, you must keep a record of the original values, i suggest a word/notpad document and a printed copy tucked away just incase!
you can solder a plug in to the wires on the obd2 plug as i have done to make access easier to the eas or build/buy a dedicated cable. i soldered it because i didnt have an obd2 plug available and i couldnt wait to test my theory of making a dedicated plug on the car!
there are piccys somewhere on the site or:
as you can see, its near the obd plug and in actual fact cannot be seen unless you are looking for it! i think it doesnt look obtrusive although i do have a plan to add my lpg plug down there too, the lpg one is the same as eas but different colour, another reason i wanted this set up so i could easily plug into eas or lpg without extra cables/adaptors!
be careful and always have a good battery or engine running when operating the eas!
if you need any more info let me know!
