purdy cat can you give more details, pictures of how you went about preparing the wings and painting. Are you doing it in situ on the landy? Also, do you have dents in the wing, if so did you get them out. I ask because my wing is a bit dented and is in need of some attension.

jai, your front axel for 99p! do they still sell them if they go for so little. Thats an amazing deal. Do you just buy stuff when its cheap for when you may need replacements?

I buy lots of axle bits for older motors. I strip clean refurb the parts to sell on (it takes ages believe me somtimes not worth the effort) but the money pays for my mota and my trialler I'm rebuilding after I complete the axle swap. My dad has also retired HGV test driver/fitter and will also help me do the refurbing aswell as my Brother he is an ex LR mechanic of many years and him and my dad are looking into rebuilding older landys/Rangies to order to as better than new condition to export/sell. I will handle local stuff second hand and refurb stuff outside my work hours. My only money for my landy and trialling is spare dosh from this stuff I refurb sell. I also need to refurb a front and rear axle for my mota and 4.7 ratio is ideal for the tyres I wish to run having got a salisbury on at the moment and wish to keep strength bidding on the salisbury 4.7 ratio seemed a good move and nobody else bid.

The question has to be asked tho:

How much would somone be willing to pay for a 110 CSW on galv chassis galv bulkhead 200tdi rebuilt as new waxoiled and sorted. £10K £15 more? I don't know but the vehicles will certainly be built to last with no electronics to fail.

Will setup a website and SPAM post it on LZ after I build up some more stock of refurbed parts, I have calipers coming out of my ears to get done and stub axles/hubs everywhere and a 90 rear axle complete with Brand new drums and shoes which wasn't cheap before I swapped my salisbury lots to sell I needs the money to get stuff here sorted! Problem is Paddocks is so cheap its hardly worth refurbing anything but paddocks is paddocks if you get me.

See if ya can find some number on it please Mr Buster. Am interested to know what fits.:D

Went three rounds with the steering wheel, but finally replaced dodgy wash/wipe switch. Altered plumbing for the washers. Rebuilt dashboard. Changed gear box oil. Adjusted reversing switch. Added first of 2 extra earth straps. Mounted fuel filter and electric fuel pump. Been a busy little bugger! :D

wire brushed bit of the load-bay floor and rust remedied it,
took out front seats and cut out a load of soggy soundproofing from the footwells, found more rust to sort, and a hole to weld....FFS,
Then found OS rear wing and rear of sill have parted company, and sill appears to no longer have an end cap(?)/covered end to it, lots of wet muck and flaky metal instead...oooh joy...too dark to see whats going on.
Anyone know if a 300tdi Disco engine will transplant into a landrover 90 NA or TD??!!
seriously thinking about it.

Had the front wheel bearings adjusted, and realised how manky she is when parked next to other car's:D, no wonder no one want's to park next to her:p might treat her to an all over/under jet wash tomorrow.

put some heat insulation on the rear tub floor then layed some carpet, covered the inside of the rear door and set off my dry powder extinguisher by accident and tarted up the front bumper.
