Got told about a handy wee place tae buy oil from for not too bad a
price so went and got some. Then ah changed the engine oil and filter, changed fuel filter, changed the seals on the O/S rear wheel as it was leakin' and nipped up the bearin's on the other side. Was just about tae grease the prop UJ's when me mate phoned, can't be bothered now so ah'll do that the morn;):D

finally got the snorkel refitted after the o/s/front wing repair , well chuffed with the job me mate did on the repair (note the headlight surounds) the replacement came grey abs not black as original so got me buddy to spray um both the same as the body

Fitted me rear view camera.....Its amazing to be able to see the rear of the car.....even if its arse backwards at the minute.

De cat pipe, emergency hammer, and led interior bulbs fitted.

Can now go faster and see inside the hammer when I need to escape!

Greased the uj's and props, took of rear axle breather and blew it through, refitted rear speakers and toyed wi' the idea of a shelf in the back fur some extra storage;)

rebuilt the box section in vicinity of rear door as was fooked, made a new exhaust bracket as rear one scabby and welded rear door as it had spit on box section.

My driver's side 'leccy window stopped working on my '02 Defender...

So, checked fuse - ok
Checked for 12v coming into the rocker switch -ok
Checked for 12v and - 12v coming out of the rocker switch - ok
Then removed door trim to see if power was getting to the window motor - no power.
After a bit of further investigation, I found that one of the two wires (red and blue) that go from the bulkhead to the door in a rubber boot had broken (see photo).

20 minutes later with a soldering iron and some new wire - now fixed :)

Fitted front and rear diff guards, wired up new rear working lights oh and emptied the storage box i fitted to keep recovery bits in of water :( time for a rethink on that idea!
