Most Motorfactors sell it. However if you are spraying it you will need a Schutz gun. They are about £10 on E-bay :)

Just got in from finally fitting the front hubs/seals/bearings/pads/oil ...... and then found both hardlines to the calipers have split. Fapping hell

sold another spare i had for the disco, the header tank,
still got loads of parts left

oh and i still have clean hands with no oil on them and its sunday night:rolleyes:

but i've been bored ****less all day, the slitty has nothing wrong with it:p

All I did was fit diff guards....

But for me, that was quite an achievement. It's years since I took a spanner anywhere near a car - and then it was a Metro with the old A Series engine :D

I did see more than I like of fresh oil underneath - not sure where from, but around the wading plug hole I think. Still, it's not a Landrover if there isn't oil coming out:D

Spent 3 hours pressure washing the State Forest out from under my Disco, inspected the newly shaped front diff (oops) and the other collateral damage...then wrote a list of things to fix before I go out again.

hung a little mighty duck duck in the top corner of the rear screen that tells boy racers they can go fast but i can go anywhere :)

Washed mucky, then started re-undersealing - 80% on the truck, 10% on the drive, 10% all over me :D

discovered my steering pump has developed an annoying whine, too

Washed it and fitted a new remote central locking kit... complete with flashing indicators and authentic 'bleep bleep' sound!! now all I gotsta do is fit the actuators for the back doors and she's away :D

Undid me swivel drain plugs......would have drained them but there wernt nuffin in them.

After starting the V8 today and one carb flooding (stuck valve) again, and then it deciding not to run propper on gas when it got warm (again), I decided that as good an engine as it is (barely run in) that it's coming out asap (when I've done me Clio cambelt).
Not had a day this week when the fooking thing hasn't broken down and left me stranded without wheels so enough is bloody enough and it has to go.
The whole lot is coming out, V8 , lt85 , and worn disco box to be replaced with a 300 tdi + boxes from a 95 Disco as long as it's good when I hear it running etc at weekend.
When the V8 is running it is superb on petrol or gas but the niggling little problems with carbs, gas, and wires shorting out through crap wiring are doin my ead in.
Need to use the 110 and need to know that it will run all day without letting me down so as I've no time to fix all the problems with the V8 then it's goin.
Decided....definate....goin.
