Took the pipe off that goes from the stat housing to the header tank yesterday and blew out the bit of crud that was blocking it. Did a little dance 'cos I thought I'd fixed it. I hadn't. :mad2:

Going to strip all the cooling hoses this morning, before taking the head off.

'ere, Ratty. I hear you do heads. I need mine examining!

****TY ****ING WEATHER :mad2: :mad2:

Best weather for working on motors if you ask me, nice and fresh out there. Had to replace 3 bulbs on my ****ty japanese car this morning, it aint the best for easy access

Best it aint as hard to change bulbs on your Nissan as it is a ****ing new shape Corsa... Took me almost 15 min to change a head light because it was designed for some one with fecking midget hands to do

Quit yer whining. If it was a zafira you'd ave to take the air filter box out to do it.:D :D :D

I fitted me rad muff that I bought 3 months ago and never got around to fitting.

Hopefully when my drop arm arrives I might even be able to drive it and see if the muff makes a difference.

Funny, my mate said the same thing to me. He was a bit flabbergasted when I did it in 5 mins without taking the airbox out. Granted it was fiddly, but once you've done it once, you can kind of feel the knack.

Same for both 2.2 petrol and 1.8 petrol, never tried it on a diesel.

Oh, and took the broken rear door handle off me freelander, glued it all back together, then araldited over the joints inside the handle. Okay it ain't perfect, but better than £65+ for a newun. Then fixed it all back and tickety boo.
