Sunday...
Adjusted my clutch pedal. Whoever ran the brake pipes across the top of the clutch pedalbox wants a ding round the lughole with a bg spanner, but the amount of time I spent on it meant two different neighbours stopped me and asked if I was available for work, and seemed impressed that adjusting a clutch was an under a tree with a beer job.

Monday... with clutch pedal 35mm lower, gear changes were a bit easier. Chugged down to builder's merchants, loaded up, went inside and realised I couldn't find my keys- in the ignition, with the window open. There are advantages to living in the middle of nowhere and having a tatty looking car.
Treated it to a new 95Amp hour battery, as I think the old one is dying.

Today. Brother-in-law lost a trailer down a 45ish degree slope. Had fun pulling it out, without catching any large trees in the process.

Stripped cylinder head, 7 valves as new but one has a little burn mark.

Today I repaired my engine loom on the TD5. Including replacing the glow plug leads and a new shielded cable to the CPS.

It now looks like this...

Finished sanding and filling some rust holes on the bulkhead. Just sprayed primer (used acid etch as I thought the windscreen-bulkhead hinge was an alloy). Fine on the sanded metal but reacted with some of the paint - school boy error not to check - but seems fine on the filler (where I was expecting a reaction). Back to the wet and dry tomorrow
