Like the shed modifications to fit the tractor...
It was to get my then lifted 90 in, i also had to mod the front of the garage as well by fitting a cat flap but hoping to rip all the front out this summer and fit taller doorsLike the shed modifications to fit the tractor...
If I changed the doors to my garage I could get the Defender in but the asbestos roof would concertina up into a cloud of white dust courtesy of my roof rackLike the shed modifications to fit the tractor...
No you have it the wrong way round. It's "i wonder how much more we can charge them before they bugger off elsewhere?"Just negotiated my insurance renewal down by £90, which was good. What always forms a part of these conversations is the woman on the other end of the phone going through my details which they already have about the make and model, the yearly mileage and my postcode and then coming up with a lower figure. I wonder why they don't just save everybody's time and just give you the lower figure at the start of the phone call. Maybe they want to make it look like it's a sophisticated actuarial process rather than 'can you knock a bit off?' 'oh alright then'.
So its now o'fishally a green house?I’ve just placed a crop of container radish in the back of mine as it’s off the road and a heat box in the sun
I backed mine into the garage and then out again, still not enough room
It goes in ok, but I only have 3’ available at the front for tinkering. As I planned to pull the engine I’m somewhere between indoors and kerbside motors.Rebuild/build bigger garage or move house. Though here's an idea from friend who has a very smart VW campervan...he lowered his garage floor using a concrete cutter, laid some self levelling resin finish and now the campervan has plenty of room. Quite a novel idea...
