Took the dash out to find a wiring fault and replaced the heater matrix. I've never seen one in such a state.

Sworn at it !!
In work this morning, supposed to finish at 11.00 but had to say and fix a breakdown, so 3pm I went to the Disco, key fob would not work.
Spent 1/2 hour trying to enter the emergency code, then gave up and phoned the wife so she could read the hand book to me.
Locked out for 30 mins due to trying too many times, grrrr.

Went for a cuppa keeping my keys in my pocket, when I came back it unlocked on the button !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 new track rod ends, 1 new drag link joint. I now have steering back. There was about 10" of play at the wheel. It also seems the big 34mm nut securing the drop arm to the steering box was VERY loose and the locking washer wasn't doing its job. I could have died at any moment.

I also fitted new injector o-rings, copper washers and loom.

Oooh, and a new hankook battery :)

What an afternoon.

Had the dash out yesterday to see what was up with the heater motor. Glad I did as the speed resistor had melted 2 of the wires off it and melted the coating on them. Luckily I had a spare heater box so took the resistor out of that to switch over. Also moved my beacon switches to the overhead pocket. Put 2 voltmeter's up there aswell then finally put my boost guage in a proper pod and wired it in so it lights up as it should. Did the same with my clinometer. Got the dash back in then remembered I needed to adjust the transfer box lever so it doesn't hit the headunit and I need to replace the handbrake lever as the stop is broken that stops it going too low.
Then today I replaced the sidelight strips I had on my light bar to new ones. They're so bright you can't look at them even in the day.
Still need to finish a few interior bits and work out why my alarm has decided to act spastic. And in the meantime I need to find a new job aswell

Replaced the power steer box today and its transformed my 90 now with now leaks from the box, more responsive and all the excess play has all gone, i am well chuffed :D

Fitted new S&P door strikers!

I AM SO HAPPY! Doors now close without several slams! After some new door sliders they also stay open!

Drove my "new" '93 Disco to work (drove it home to Kent from Manchester last night). On the way home found myself, completely by chance, in convoy with a couple more green discos
Apologies to the folks at the lights at Ashford station for letting the side down with my rotten old farm tractor - I'll be setting it straight over the coming months ;)
