fitted new brake lines from master cylinder to osf along with the last of the extended flexi's then thought I'd adjust the nsf door 'quickly'. that turned out to be a bad idea. left an hour later than planned to pick up the r380 for the work D1. all done now though and what a difference braided flexi's make. the brakes feel so much more responsive now

Got them arches sorted yet..?

thats the next thing along with another front axle casing. they are on the list but keep getting knocked off the top due to more urgent things.
how's your disco getting on?

Both, with a dash of god knows what. :(

It was a IIa but most of its gubbins seems to be III. The bulkhead is III along with the dash. Ive changed the light switch but no luck.

Has it still got the S111 wiring loom if so the multi plug the runs from the bulkhead to front lights and stuff in the engine bay can give probs hope this helps :)

Peeded of with it. I have a vibration which feels like a bearing type of vibration. I have had a complete set of Timken wheel bearings fitted on the front. New front prop shaft fitted and the vibration is still there. Don't want to look at it today as I might set fire to it.

Front prop started vibrating last night, uj on gearbox end is stuffed, a new set ordered today, prop removed, 2x4 until I can get them fitted :(

Hope this works can anyone tell me if I can put after market alloys wheels on my freelander 1 and can I up the size of the rims and how big is the right size??

I would do the cheapest thing first and get the wheela balanced. If they arnt balanced correctly the can give a lot of vibration, plus check to see for any lumps in the tyres etc.

If you still thinks in bearing give the wheels a wiggle! Latteral movement will suggest a bearing that is worn... Or not sested correctly. They can come loose shortly after fitted if it wasn't done quite tight enough to begin with.

300 engine.. 7 seats.. 3 doors.. 0 sunroofs.. :)

Just put the front wheels back on after two weeks of being on stands, new swivel balls, discs, pads, calipers, CVs and hub bearings. Did a complete brake fluid change as well, old stuff looked like engine oil.

Pedal feels ok but going for a run to bed the brakes in in a minute... Then when I get back I got new discs and pads to go on the missus' clio.
