I finished my side exit exhaust

Mine came with a side exhaust, really nicely made tbh but it does produce an odd sound as if its blowing a bit, souds pretty loud of the passenger window is down, does yours produce an interesting sound?

I have been having fun and games changing the back wheels over on my 110. One tire has worn down more than the other due to a braking problem I have. One wheel locks up before the other. These bloody jacks are not only useless but dangerous. Think I am going to have to get a new one.
that would be an interesting question. Which type of jack does everyone else use for a 110.

not a lot....

but met up with Diesel Do and chewed the fat. Nice motor he has. Interesting watching the neg camber on the rear wheels. wonder how long the tyres last.

Has some interesting ideas and projects - will keep an eye on his posts.

I am sure he wont mind me mentioning that he knows his stuff with doozils and the tweaking thereof. Will get him to do my 300 next time he is down :).

Oi! Stop making me sound clever! I'm trying to blend in:D

Great to meet you:)

Well after not using the disco for 2 months, it took me 45min to get it started.

Batt was so flat the doors wouldn't even open!

Then had to clean the mould off the steering wheel, and bail out the water and towel dry all the windows!

But had a great day laning!

finally got the head gasket done and torgued down , started to put all the bits back on .
bloody front bolt holding the rocker shaft to the head has no thread to bite on :frusty::frusty::frusty: looks like whoever had it off last (1 of 2 machanics that did work on the motor when the 90 was my works truck)fooked it up and put chemical metal on the threads:mad:
lets hope 2013 will be kinder to me and the landys than 2012 has been

Had to go to the bakers this morning to get some bread. Hesitated between taking the Defender or the car. Decided to take the Defender as I thought the French can't drive at the best of times in the car park. I parked up behind some woman in a Scenic, got out and walked across the road to the baker when I heard a loud crunch. She managed to back into the Defender. How can you managed to reverse into large Defender in your rear view mirror. I even have the spare wheel on the bonnet which must have filled her rear view. Anyway, she now has a deep impression of my Bull bars across her rear door. I personally think its and improvement. I carried on into the baker as I wasn't worried. She came running in and asked if it was my Defender. I told her don't bother. My Defender is unmarked. Now if I had taken the car it would have been a different story.

Couple of days ago I...

Changed pipe from MAP sensor to inlet manifold, Cleaned MAF, Cleaner EGR out. (going to get this bypassed think), Changed air filter, Cleaned a few bits and bobs around the engine bay.

Made a huge difference to the performance it would barely get up a slight hill in second and now it flies up in third!

Still to do...
Remove inlet manifold and clean out all the gunk kindly supplied by the EGR Valve.

Fitted the LED lights to the light bar. By fook they're fapping bright...

I'd say it's cured the light pollution problem you normally get on the dash/bonnet from roof bar lights by 80%.
MUCH more usable!
