Had her mot today, and passed with no advisories, it was good job that it did past with the £500 spent in the last week. :D

I peeled the sign writing off the sides of mine today.... And emptied some of the coal out the back.

I changed the injector harness this, mornin done in 20 mins , i felt a small vibration / missfire about a week ago knew what it could be , had a look in the red multiplug an yep you guessed it Oil.
Easy job, but wow theres no way you are ever gona stop oil migrating down the loom to the plug as when you look at the rockers after removing the rocker cover the multiplugs to the injectors will always be soaked no matter what you do even to the point that the oil can run inside the outer sheaf of plastic insulation around the copper wires to each injector
As for the later modified harness the genuine part ive just fitted was identical to the one i removed from my 54 plate disco , it should have had the later harness anyway or did it and they leak just as bad as the first generation harness Landys dont ya just love it :D

I got my Kenlowe Rad fan wired up today at my friendly local French Land Rover garage.
I will now have to wait till next July /August and find a long steep hill where I can tow a heavy trailer in 35c degree plus to test it out and see if it works.
The guy started the engine up, I asked him what for. He said to test the fan. I told him I couldn't wait till next summer. I explained that a few weeks ago in 34 degree I drove a round trip of some 400miles without a fan and the temperature gauge never moved into the red. And yes I do have a new thermostat.

Put the new wiper things on and washers

Oh and new door bolts

Managed to put one of the washers on half a cm lower than the other FFS, gonna have to live with it for now

Insured it with Adrian Flux, got a cracking deal. All mods declared, Off road/greenlaning cover, windscreen cover, in my own name at 19 years old with zero no claims, for just over £900. Well chuffed :D

got new wheel bearing kit... then stared at my disco through the window waiting for it to stop raining long enough for me to fit the dam things!!!!

still waiting.....

Realised I have a funny judder when I go over bumps on the motorway.
Could this be caused by the WATTS linkeage or is this something more serious?
The judder commes through the steering wheel and is quite unnerving!:5bnopity::5bnopity:

(I do need new WATTS linkeage bushes)
Dunno about the judder but a knackered Watts linkage will cause a clunk from the rear as the weight moves from side to side. If you rock the vehicle from side to side you should hear it.

Well I did nothing to the old girl, I had the very nice engineer at work replace all the Filters, New Engine Oil, New Diff Oil, Gearbox Filter and Gearbox Fluid and Greased the props.
Filter kit from paddocks £12 approx(Not Brit Part)
Gearbox kit from paddocks £15 approx
Cost of labour £30 and thats only because I felt guilty watching him struggle with the gearbox filter lol. He said hes never doing a gearbox again though Muhahaha.

*Slight update from earlier*

Ive just finished fitting my EGR blanking plate and modifiying the orginal hose so I dont have to buy a replacement coz I'm cheap and much to impatiant to wait.

I cut off the bendy looking pipe that connects to the EGR valve then filed it down cleaned it all out got some silicone hose that fits tight over the new hole used silicone gasket selant then used Steel worm hose clamp things either end to seal it double tight so hopefuly I should see a nice little improvement on the way home tonight!

The joys of working somewhere that has a fully equiped workshop open almost 24hrs.:D
