Changed the final wheel bearing (front off-side) and renewed the swivel pin housing grease - using Busterbus's excellent guides.

Still gutted with my roof rack - if it sells on fleabay great if not it's getting hacked again!

Fitted 30MM spacers quick sand and paint of front wheels (they needed it!) and fixed the number plate light. rest for stella :)

drove to the steam engine yard and moved a 12 ton traction engine around for a bit (needed it the other way round in the shed) :D

Effortless!

Put that stupid pivot ball through the clutch fork thingemy and then spent the rest of the day under the gearbox of an old 300 getting the fookin thing off to weld a huge piece of 5mm steel plate over the hole. Verdict....jobs a gudden but would rather have spent the day doing something else.

On the plus side I did find about 3 quid in change under my centre console when i took it out.

Tried to bleed out the clutch. Found I'm still loosing fluid after fitting master cylinder and drove home without the clutch. The joys of range roves

Put a new thermostat in..what a difference...right in the middle of the gauge and warmed up after 2 miles! Heater really warm as well..result:)
Also played with my fuel injection pump. took the head off and was full of oil! so cleaned it up..took it apart..moved the diaphram around by 90% and wow what a difference...going uphill in 4th gear and pulling away...feels like I have double the POWER:)
