Been taxi driving through the white stuff early am & again this evening.
Pulling muppets up hills they had no chance of under their own steam- why do they try that?
More snow tomorrow :)
Must wire up me roof lights soon...

New cambelt and tensioners in my 300tdi yesterday. Finished bleeding the coolant and topped up the oil today then went out to play in the snow tonight.

Been out in the snow in my newly aquired farmer wrecked v plate 90 td5, disco 1 van failed mot spectacularly this week so bought a temporary project vehicle while I decide what to do with the crusty heap. Pulled out a forklift, a noddy van, a BMW x5, a Skoda and a Fiesta. 12 inch of snow here. Tried to pull out a Transit tipper but sat there with left hand wheels spinning. Why is the best 4x4xfar only 2wd? I love Land Rovers but this seems to be their achilles heel. Had to use bosses 03 Navara, pulled it straight out with rear limited slip diff. Was very embarassed- Will have to have a disco 2 with traction control next, they seem nigh on unstoppable

Tried to help a delivery van that was stuck in the snow.

After digging and pushing him I asked him to locate his towing eye so that I could attach my rope and give him a tow. The conversation went...

Van driver - "but im not sure where it is"
Me - "its probably located with your spare wheel"
Van driver - "I dont know where my spare wheel is"
Me - "its probably under your van, or inside"
Van driver - "Im not really sure"
Me - "Try looking"
Van driver - "But I dont know where it is"
Me - "Well have a look"
Van driver - "Couldnt you just carry on digging for me"
Me - "Ok, Ill just go and get my shovel from my Landrover"

Needless to say I drove off. Some folk just dont help themselves, and dont appreciate others help!
