went out with jamese1505 and his dad kevin on a laning reci today , fooked if i did'nt get another wheel stuck in some mud and rip another cnuting valve off a tube :mad: so looking like i need to get the other 3 wheels converted to the valves on the inside of the rims (and another fookin tube FFS!!)
on the up side did have 2 spares so could carry on (well until kevin snapped off the steering joint on the pas drop arm on the disco :eek::doh:)
got a couple of video's i'll post when they finally finish downloading (if ever :mad:)

planned to fit my new downpipes on the V8, but forgot to get new clamps :rolleyes:

changed the air filter though...dont think the last owner had done it for a long while...:eek:
 
replaced one of two bump stops on the Disco, and the mudflap plate, that extends from the inner wing...the other one fell to bits, then had to re-work the bracket from that that goes to the bootfloor, **** poor fit, but good now

today ah've rubbed down the welds on the rear x member and chassis, stuck seam sealer over thum, primed it, painted it, drilled some holes for 'P' clamps to take the wirin' over to the passenger side rear, pulled me rear wirin' loom back through the chassis, waxoiled the new bits on the outside, stuck me bumperette thingies back on, fitted me NATO hitch, reconnected the wirin' loom, rubbed down the rear hanger fur the exhuaust and fitted it.


Didn't take much photies today, here's a couple fur ye's anyways...

Started plating holes in sills/floor.
Haven't done any welding for over 20 years and it shows!.
Rear wheel arch and bottom of B pillar tomorrow.
