Drove it to the scrappy and bought some lengths of exhaust. Spent a few hours chopping and welding and for the 1st time ever I now have a solid exhaust wiv a proper flexi an everyfink :)

Bought a turret ring .. just about to crawl under to check and grease the UJ's, props, 'other stuff' what might be falling off .. ;)

Will fit the ring tomorrow.

Fitted new Draglink on the Disco. Found the source of the low-speed wobble - bulge on inside of rear o/s tyre! 2 General Grabbers ordered.
Walked past 'Fender 4 times - so far :D

Well last night and early hours, whilst on duty i fitted

Reconditioned turbo, decat and manifold gasket fitted. Happy days!

Looks like one of the turbo mounting studs is cross threaded and the turbo at high end revs is very noisey and not in a good way! :violent:

Had such high hopes and now i,m getting a little ****ed wea my 110. The boys at MRM are chippy as f$ck, as 4 of my manifold bolts were so lose i could undo them by finger!.....off to the 300TDI forum.

Bled the clutch fluid, to find less than a shot in there and mostly air!

Replaced it all! Now it runs a treat! :D

Still havnt fitted those resistors...

Sat in it all day waiting to start work, little mild offroading that has the potential to turn extreme if the rain comes...

Just went mental on ebay £400 notes down but my baby will be alive and on the road by weekend, How's your V8 going Evil?

Know that feel :( I just did that earlier and dropped £150 but spent a good amount recently!

Check for yourself ;) its looking like a series again :D collecting me custom engine mounts tomorrow and a new stick welder so I can fabricate some stuff this weekend. Think I may move the engine forward a couple of inches so its right against the rad just so I can lengthen the rear prop shaft

Looking good mate next time I'm up my familys in alston you will have to come up my aunties farm so we can charge around the mud showing that landrovers walk all over jap try hards

Alstons not so far from me ;) mine should be ok in the mud haha although super short prop shaft may mean I'm gonna have to get creative with my axle mounts to push it back slightly

Will see how it goes once I get the mounts made up, but feel free to pop in for a drink if you're up here

Removed and blocked the vacuum advance and re timed to 14 btdc. Just need to order some new dizzy springs from real steel and should be well sorted.
Engine already runs so much better. Even the exhaust note is better
