Fook that  when the whole finger has gone black then I might think about it.

Dont need to go to A&E, all they have done when I've hit my nails is heat up a paper clip in a flame and touch it onto the nail. Melts straight through, you can do it yourself :D

Ok, my landy ?
done feckall with it, to it, or even in it.
I did look at it occasionaly through me bedroom window,
as it lives right outside.

Ah, bless it...:)

Had plans to install 2 washers, repalce some parts but awoke to this!

Do you mean the ball joint? if so it really isn't that hard especially if you buy one of paddock's puller kits, about £19 I think.

Its awkward but the ball joint can be done in situ getting the arm of the steering box is another ball game in itself you need a bloody good/ big pair of pullers two arm pullers fit better than three:)

ftted battery and started her up for the 1st tme snce clutch went.

Cue one very loud bang and a bit of a rattle. Bugger thought I, it's shagged. Then I spotted, crank pully spacer and crank bolt on the floor. I'd only left the fooking spanner on the crank shaft bolt, from when I was tghtening the flywheel & clutch bolts

SO laid on freezing bloody floor in a snow storm, while I refitted the bolt. :(

Restarted it to find I've got a crunching noise when engaging 1st and No reverse  Unless I engage Low range & difflock then it'll go in. In high range I can see the prop shaft trying to turn slightly when trying to engage reverse, but it just won't go in.

Am assuming I've put the long bolt in the wrong hole in the transfer box

Spent most of today fitting my new Alpine headunit :) Chuffed with how it turned out.

Unfortunately it seems to be the drop arm bearing which apparently is 'reamed' to the drop arm shaft:(

Thanks for the info though:)
