i know matey i just wish id had a couple hours more daylight today as i still need to put the sump back on and fit a new oil filter

but while it was appart i took the oppertunity to go through it like a dose of the clap through a brothel :D

well lets hope it sorts the problem out now.;):D

Ripped out the gearbox today and got the g/box away from t/box before the dark set in.

Hopefully the new gear sets will be here tomorrow

Will be putting the g/box in first then the t/box when it goes back in, they're fookin heavy together without hoist or glamorous assistant!

last bits of me stuff arrived today, diffguard and Jate rings.

So, this sunday, hopefully I will be doing
UJ change
Bolts for rear prop change
Windscreen washer nozzel change
Oil change
Diff guard fit
Jate ring Fit
Snorkel Fit
Extended Breathers Fit

That should do I think, hopefully the weather will be nice to me :)

Today fitted the piece of electronic kit produced by member David Pye that lets me raise and lower the rear air suspension at the flick of a switch. Great for loading heavy items. Works a treat.

Also finally sealing up the front sunroof after trying all the solutions to fix it. Given it up as a bad job and a waste of time.

Job 1, replaced the o/s side light bulb, bit of a trial 'cos it's a facelift Disco 2; pretty straightforward though.

Job 2, wired up the spotlights on the front light bar as driving lights. Normal configuration; a relay triggered from the main beam h/lights. Again, pretty straightforward. 55 watt bulbs, so they are street legal.

Prepared the wiring and hardware for the replacement heated windscreen washer jets.
Prepared some of the wiring for dashboard control of the front driving lights.

All-in-all, not too bad considering that I have to work outside and every time I started something, down came the rain and everytime I thought "Sod it" and went back indoors for a quick cough and a drag and a cuppa the sun came out again. Don't you just love British weather?

Replaced the clutch slave today whilst ongoing other small job......
Real easy to bleed on my own too
